Talk about a breath taking film. The Stoning of Soraya M is one of the best films I have ever seen. Yes I got mad as I was watching this. but I had to remember that this really does happen, that this is the way of life for some people.
This is a true story based on the life of Soraya who was stoned to death for a crime she never committed. Shohreh Aghdashloo was absolutely amazing in this film. Her character shows you the length and determination one will have to get the word out into the world of injustices.
Mozhan Marno was also fantastic in this. I really want to research this more to find out what happened to Zahara and everyone else.
