2 stars? But this is Shane Meadows, Guv! Yeah. And he should know better. First part is a catch up for those that missed them first time around using archival t.v. clips. Shane, get your aspect ratios right.
Old 4x3 pictures in an anamorphic film look shit and are insanely distracting to what's being said. Second part is about the reunion, and although well shot, is so sycophantic it looses the plot. The final part is concert footage, which let's be fair, is great because of the Roses, not in spite of them.
Meadows is no Scorsese when it comes to filming rock bands. A wasted opportunity.
