Matool. Doesn't the name just send shivers down your spine?

Matool is the hero of this film, kind of, or at least the main character -- sort of. There's also Nathan, the one other character whose name is written on the screen during a freeze-frame in the beginning of the movie.

The Stink of Flesh takes place in some sort of near-future zombie apocalypse. Matool is a bad-ass bare-knuckle zombie-killing machine. The first words he says in the movie are "Fuck yeah". Yeah, he's that cool.

Nathan, on the other hand, is a man who is in an open relationship with his wife (they're swingers!), which is how he happens to cross paths with our man Matool.

In one very touching scene, Matool is sitting in a bathtub surrounded by candles while Nathan looks on. Matool asks why he has been brought to this veritable oasis in the zombie-ridden countryside they occupy.

"What do you think?" Nathan scoffs.

"I think I'm here to get it on with your wife," Matool replies, matter-of-factly.

"That's the plan," Nathan concedes.

Brilliant.

Yes, okay, fine, it's a bad movie. The actors are laughable, the plot is insane, the ending is ridiculous, and the gore... well, actually, the gore isn't too bad considering the low budget. But other than that, it's phenomenally terrible and entertaining.

If you like kung fu and zombie sex, this movie is for you. If you just want to see Matool's ass, this movie is for you.

This movie is for you.
