Review of The Stepfather (1987) by Chris T — 27 Oct 2009
This film is proof that a great actor can save just about any film. The quality of the story is very average, but Terry O'quinn's performance is eerie. His portrayal of the seemingly nice guy, who isn't so nice will have you questioning how well you know those people that surround you.
The performance ranks up there with Alan Rickman in Die Hard, Rutger Hauer in the Hitcher and Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs.
