Bernard (Jeff Daniels ) and Joan Berkman's ( Laura Linney) marriage is over.They are getting a divorce.Both are writers,while Bernards career is going is going nowhere-he is reduced to writing-Joan's is on the way up.
This movie is about the effect this has on their two children,both of whom take the news badly.This story is supposed to be based on real life experiences of the writer director Noah Baumbach.A excellent watch.
