Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Nelson P — 12 Jul 2010
It's kind of hard to properly enjoy this movie if you haven't been a child of divorce or gone through your family's destruction.I think for the most part the acting was spectacular especially from Owen Kline and Anna Paquin.
Jeff Daniels character is all too familiar especially the choices he makes as a father. Without a few scene that were kind of pretentious this movie would be perfect.
