Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Brian C — 24 May 2012

As a child of not one, but two divorces, I feel justified in giving this a passing grade. This is the most realistic take on the subject I've seen in movies, which would have been too much to take if it wasn't so bitterly funny, often for the same reasons that it's painful.

Only problem I have with this movie is that it's too short (although the 12-year-old's masturbation scenes could have left more to the imagination, but that's beside the point).
