Review of The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) by Ben T — 21 Dec 2014
After Sean Connery left the James Bond franchise for good we got a new Bond in Roger Moore. Before this movie he had two movies, Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun (two movies I haven't got round to watching yet), however after those two we got The Spy Who Loved Me and wow what a movie.
Just like Goldfinger this movie is so Bond you can't help loving it. Roger Moore is a great Bond, he's a different Bond from Connery but for the movies he's in I think he's a perfect choice.
This movie has it all, a hot women in Anya or agent xxx, great villains in Stromberg and Jaws and fantastic action. This film is just Bond, I would probably just show this to a first time viewer to show them what the franchise is.
This is the only Roger Moore Bond film I've seen and it's just fantastic. It's a great movie that I just love. A.
