Quite effective for it's sappy-ness and predictable. I liked the idea of a girl coming out of prison trying to make a home somewhere and forming unlikely friendships with a grumpy old lady who doesn't take crap from anyone, and a reserved housewife.
The scenery makes me wanna go live in Maine kinda.
