With top-notch performances from Woodley and Teller who also share an undeniable chemistry onscreen, "The Spectacular Now" tells more than just a story, but a story that is actually real. These are characters that you can relate to, living lives you can relate to and with a plot you can relate to.
It is not only one of the best movies of 2013 but also one of the best independent films I've ever seen. Period. It's really that good.
