The Spectacular Now is a film for teenagers that touches fibers of what oneself lived before and put in perspective the age of one as a spectator, otherwise it is quite entertaining, follows the line and formula of films like 500 Days Of Summer, The Art Of Getting By and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, a more real and non-idyllic treatment of youth.
