Review of The Spectacular Now (2013) by Wesley H — 23 Feb 2015
What started as a film that seemed to follow bland, high school love story themes turned into a suprisingly deep study about the need for genuine love and acceptance. However, it would not have been successful if not for the intimate and believable performances of Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley -- both of whom I have gained a significant respect for after this viewing.
