Now I know why this was pushed back to be unceremoniously dumped in the wasteland known as February. Bad acting, terrible plotting, laughable science, and a preponderance of things that seem to happen for no particular reason whatsoever.
There might be a way to make this teen sci-fi romance work, but this surely wasn't it.
