A childhood favorite of mine, I still feel the same joy, elation, and wonder watching this film today as I did when I was 5. As the Von Trapp children found out, there is something incredibly freeing about musical expression.
Julie Andrews' Maria is one of the most likable characters you'll ever meet in cinema. The characters, the scenery, the singing; everything about this classic film is impressively memorable.
