Review of The Sound of Music (1965) by Steph S — 27 Dec 2012
'THE HILLS ARE ALIVE, WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC.' Where do I begin on a film as good as this one. It may not be everyone's cup of tea to watch but it certainly is a great film to grow up on and a true classic.
Julie Andrews is one of the most gifted actors. She is a troubled woman who is a nun and she was given a job to take care of a family of 7 children. She found her true call as an amazing caregiver and new mother to the chilren.
We also see Captain Vontramp show his softer side when he falls in love with Maria. A true romance story but also alot of fun to watch.
