Well, 'The Sound of Music' is certainly a classic - very traditional music, script, ideas and pacing. Some of the songs are OK, but there's definitely a few very good ones, but I just wish they weren't repeated over and over.
.. The film's definitely too long at 170min and the love story is wrapped up a little too neatly, but overall it's quite charming, even with the Nazi problem at the end!
