Review of The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) by Corey N — 28 Nov 2011
"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is Walt Disney film that is sort of a spin off from their other film Fantasia. The film stars Nicolas Cage as a sorcerer who must find the apprentice who will succeed his past master Merlin and help contain the evil Morgan Le Fay.
He finds his apprentice in New York city. The Apprentice is played by Jay Baruchel. Each of these actors are solid in their roles. But I found that actor Alfred Molina stole the movie has the evil Maxim Horvath.
The story is solid and the CGI and action are decent. The story is decent enough for kids to watch and the family to enjoy together. The film was what I expected overall. A solid fantasy adventure film those who enjoy this type of film.
Worth at least a one time watch.
