An immensely enjoyable magical tale set in modern times, where effects have been used to strengthen the story and the characters, and not to replace them. Cage and Molina make worthy adversaries, Monica Bellucci in her brief appearance is ravishingly gorgeous, and Jay Baruchel reminded me how uncanny his resemblance is with the central character from â~How to Train your Dragonâ(TM) (to which he lent his voice)! Itâ(TM)s a reprisal of that role of a reluctant hero to some extent, and he does it well.

Well paced from start to finish, filled with likeable characters, so much so, that at times you sympathise with Molina, who plays the villain of the piece. It would be enjoyable not only to the kids, but their parents also.
