Firstly I have to say that the animation in Fantasia, that this movie is supposedly based on, creeps me out. I don't know why, it just does. Having said that, I actually enjoyed this movie, even the scene that payed homage to Fantasia.
I don't usually like Nicholas Cage but he was great in this and looked like he was having fun. Jay Baruchel - what can I say? He plays exactly the same guy in every movie and this is no exception.
Perhaps the writing could have been a bit better, but the awesome CGI animation almost makes up for it.
