Review of The Soloist (2009) by Marta K — 13 Mar 2010
A seemingly original idea at first but treated in a way that ripped it off the potential. Was it not enough concentration on the figure of Nathaniel or too much about Lopez? Or just an attempet to tell both stories full AS WELL as describe the infulence of the relationship between the two characters at the same time trying to relate to the significance and power of music.
Also, too many 'life truths' at the end...
