Review of The Soloist (2009) by Eklektik E — 15 Mar 2011
Exemplary performances by both Downey and Foxx. It is such a satisfaction to see a realistic portrayal of someone with mental illness, not as some evil villain but as someone devastated by a brain disorder that is out of their control who is just trying to hang on but who also has been gifted with a great talent--a talent that would normally be overlooked just because of presumption.
