Review of The Snow Walker (2003) by Ryan D — 13 Aug 2005
"The Snow Walker" (2003) August 14th Review .
The film is about a man (Barry Pepper) who crashes in the unforgiving wilderness of Canada with an Inuit woman (Annabella Piugattuk) (who just so happens to be Inuit in real life). The survival story is good, and has the tools to build a really good film, but something is missing, and it comes up short. Its not for lack of trying though. Annabella Piugattuk gives a good performance in her debut with Barry Pepper at her side. Despite the film's faults, it is an enjoyable look at survival, the strength of the human spirit, and what love really means. .
