This movie was such a breakthrough for its time because it helped psychiatric hospitals re-evaluate the way in which it treated its patients. Olivia DeHavilland gives a super performance as a woman who is mentally insane, but the hospital who treats her has questionable tactics.
A wonderful movie and will keep your attention.
