Review of The Smurfs (2011) by Daniel C — 08 Aug 2012

The story for the film is fine, as well as both voice and screen acting were decent. (like Hank Azaria's performance for Gargamel was worth something to smurf your socks off).

I somehow enjoyed it, despite the fact that some parts of CGI animation needs some few little tweaks in the characters. (and not to mention some cheesy close-ups which I could barely tolerate).

Overall I'd only recommend the film to those who enjoy both the cartoon show from the 80's (worth nostalgia) and the film. Although I do know that not everyone in the world like the Smurfs, as it is their choice - and that's fine.
