A predictable plot, poor character development, and a slow developing storyline detract from this big-screen adaptation of the cult-children's-classic television show. Families should enjoy the simple story and cute animated Smurfs.
However movie buffs will laugh at the surprisingly poor CG and sub-par acting from this cast.
