Review of The Slammin' Salmon (2009) by Joe L — 18 Jul 2010
The Slammin' Salmon doesn't have a smart screenplay, that's for sure. However, the film is filled with constant laughs and good comedic performances that it ends up being a solid comedy. The guys at Broken Lizard have finally redeemed themselves again after the decent but somewhat poor Beerfest and the dreaded Club Dread.
It's a solid second when compared to their first entry, Super Troopers. The cast, including Michael Clarke Duncan, Kevin Hefferman, and Cobie Smulders, is a lot of fun and even when the jokes may become a bit too juvenile, they still make the film fun and watchable.
The film will probably be one shown on Comedy Central a lot or any similar channel but it definitely a lot of fun and worth the hour and a half.
