Review of The Skin I Live In (2011) by Anoop K — 18 Aug 2012
It was time to watch an arthouse foreign movie as I haven't watched one in a while, why not go with Pedro Almodovar? ..... well, if you want to watch a movie that intrigues you and draws you in, look no further.
Its amazing what a little piece of information can do to your whole perspective and Almodovar crafts this movie perfectly, making you get inside the skin (pun intended) of the characters and twisting your sense of perspective as the movie progresses.
This one is not for the feeble minded, which is what makes it good. It is a suspense thriller....so its definitely not for everyone..(thought I should add that in...).. also the less you know the better.
