Review of The Skin I Live In (2011) by Hass H — 04 Mar 2015
Creepy, quirky in a dark way, weird, but as fascinating as a cobra's swaying dance before it strikes, a movie once seen, never forgotten.
Just watched this a second time and saw some things in it that I never saw before, like the fact that the doctor falls in love with his creation, like Pygmallion, so that he forgets his original purpose, which is always a fatal flaw. It's one of those movies--you see something new every time you look.
