Review of The Skin I Live In (2011) by Brandon W — 29 Mar 2015
The Skin I live In is a screwed up masterpiece that I never thought would be THIS good. The acting is great from Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya. The writing and direction from Pedro Almodovar is terrific and really knows how to make the movie messed up without being squeamish.
The plot is really good and does lead to some twist that no one could've predicted. The characters are very memorable, and the soundtrack sounded really catchy. It's really investing, and it's never boring.
The director said that The Skin I live In is a horror story without screams or frights, and that's actually right. It's a freaky movie that you can never take your eyes off the movie.
