With great performances by its cast, Skeleton Twins is a bittersweet dramedy about doing your best to love someone while also learning to love yourself. Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader give great performances as broken siblings, trying to connect and reconnect after years apart.
Their touching scenes together show real bonds between them, but also helps to highlight the painful anger their characters hold on to. While the ending is a bit too neat, it's a great story for the screen.
