I don't think it deserves the hype, especially with the ridiculous concept (a kid who can see dead people, what else?). But I respect that it must have been new it the time, and the plot actually develops in such a way that the mood and the atmospheric presentation can co-operate with the experience.

I don't like the main character Cole, because all the time he's a sad, depressed, crying kid. And yes, I don't like the "I can see dead people" gimmick which has seen become popular.

And, hi, he's supposed to be six, but the actor portraying him was 11 by the time this movie was made. And I don't like how Bruce Willis, a great action star, is used here. If the Sixth Sense didn't have a good level atmosphere, it would have been far worse.

Otherwise, it's not too bad.
