Review of The Sixth Sense (1999) by Patrick W — 29 Aug 2015
This M. Night Shyamalan film is what really started his once promising career. It is not his first film but the first thriller that he made which ended up being the genre that he would keep going on to make movies for.
I'm not saying he went on to become a great writer and director though. But The Sixth Sense could very well be the best thriller of all time and is definitely the best ghost movie. Shyamalan and stars Haley Joel Osment and Toni Collette were nominated for Academy Awards for their work in this movie.
The screenplay was excellent with lots of suspense and an unexpected surprising twist. It was a well chosen cast and director M. Night Shyamalan gets the best out of his actors making this a spooky must-see movie that'll surprise you, scare you, shock you, and give you chills.
My score for The Sixth Sense is 80%.
