M. Night Shylamalam's career trajectory is much like Haley Joel Osment's appearance these days. Sixth Sense was amazing....Unbreakable was solid...and Signs was pretty strong as well. The Village was mostly crap and then it all went downhill.
"The Happening" is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. "Devil" was a step back in the right direction but now he's back to sucking all over the place. This movie is still good but if you know the "twist" it's kind of lost some magic over the years.
And the comparison I made earlier is in Sixth Sense, Haley Joel is an adorably creepy little kid but take a look at his fat hillbilly ass in Entourage and you'll know what I mean.
