Review of The Sixth Sense (1999) by Yash B — 11 Feb 2018

I think what makes "The Sixth Sense" memorable is the effective use of creepy imagery, the memorable twist, and the big dramatic ideas it presents. I enjoyed these aspects of the movie and I also thought the performances felt very real.

Despite these things, I found most of this movie to move at a very slow pace and at times I felt bored by it. I certainly feel it is overrated but I respect it for being a unique and different movie in the horror/thriller genre.

It's a different kind of ghost story, one that makes you think after the credits roll. .
