Review of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) by Keith O — 15 Jan 2009
Certainly not as good as the first, but still a half-decent story. The film focuses on the four girls finding their way into the new world of adulthood... a scholarship at RISD, traveling to Turkey for an Archaeology excursion, living in NYC working at a movie rental store while trying to support your film career and getting invited to VT to help with backstage work in a play... only to be discovered by an actor and audition and win the lead role.
Maybe I feel less of a man having rented this movie and the first one on my own and watching them...on my own. But hey, I consider myself a film lover and I can't discriminate chick flicks. I don't necessarily like most of them, but at least I have watched them to know that I really don't like them.
