Review of The Singing Detective (2003) by Daniel B — 23 Jun 2007
A very confusing, brilliant mystery that is admittedly a bit of a mess. Still, I found it entertaining and interesting. I haven't seen the series, except for about half an episode, but I may check it out now.
Robert Downey Jr. is great as Dan Dark, he creates a character that we hate at first, into someone we feel we can nuderstand. Mel Gibson was also interesting as a psychotherapist, and I loved the scenes with him and Downey.
