Review of The Singing Detective (2003) by Jennifer W — 08 Jun 2008

I feel like I just watched a David Lynch movie that was easy to understand. Ha. It was just weird enough, but not so much that I had to look up interpretations online afterwards. :) Again, Robert Downey, Jr.

shows that he is one of the best actors working today. Mel Gibson was also marvelous. This movie isn't for everyone, but the screenplay was great, the acting was top-notch, and I was left with a lot to mull over.

All in all, how can I resist a movie about a writer/writing with RDJ in it?? I can't. :).
