Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Lee C — 13 Jan 2013
I remember first watching this, in my room, on a black and white tv, it was petrifying yet I couldn't stop watching. Now some 15 years later, I still turn to this film as an example of great film making, it is thrilling and the partnership of Foster and Hopkins will go down as one of the best, they bounce off each other with ease, and work together rather than trying to out do one another.
If only today's horror/crime directors and writers would use this as an example then maybe film making and storytelling would improve in those genres.
