The easiest 5-star rating I've ever given out, "The Silence of the Lambs" is probably as close to a perfect film as you're going to get.
It's got thrills and horror mixed in with a fine Jodie Foster performance and, perhaps more importantly, a bone-chillingly brilliant portrayal of Hannibal Lecter by Anthony Hopkins.
There's not much more to say really. This one speaks for itself.
