Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Christopher S — 01 May 2013
A wholly scary and haunting horror-come-psychothriller, The Silence of the Lambs is a magnificent detective thriller and insightful look at the hidden Hannibal Lecter's inside all of us. Jodie Foster turns in a strong and capable performance that matches perfectly with Anthony Hopkins freaky-as-hell Hannibal Lecter to create some of the best scenes of thriller films in recent memory.
The horror side is pure brilliance and stands tall and mighty as the most gruesome stuff ever produced on film.
