While it feels a like it was holding back punches, this mainstream mystery/thriller feels fresh, even though it's imprisoned protagonist plot device has been recycled so many times that it's found its way into my chicken mcnuggets.
Yes, I just watched this movie through, after having watched the final half hour probably twenty times on cable. Worth the wait, I guess. Hopkins is awesome. Do I ever despise the cinematography, the editing on the other hand...
