Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by John C — 10 Aug 2014
Released in early 1991, The Silence of The Lambs brought forth the psychological mindset of then modern day serial killers and gave the world a glimpse as to what was going to be a major issue later seen in the 90's.
Hopkins plays the American role of the century while Foster holds up the other end of the swing with her heroic characteristics and the brave suffering her character is established with throughout the entirety of the film.
SOTL focuses on not only the brutality of what men are capable of doing when thrown of the deepest end, but also the lack of acceptance that people are all the same and are not considerd just materials.
How do we covet, Clarice? 5 stars.
