Based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Harris. A young F.B.I. trainee (Foster) must interview an incarcerated and manipulative killer (Hopkins) to get help in catching another serial killer who skins his victims.
A good solid thriller. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins are outstanding.
