Review of The Silence (2019) by Qhasi — 20 Apr 2019
You'd think a film in which the creatures are blind and rely solely on their sense of hearing, the creatures' would have a more heightened sense of hearing. Seriously; even dogs have better hearing than these creatures, and they don't need it as much.
That's the most glaring flaw. At least Bird Box as much as it was a knock-off, was about seeing the creatures. That being said; at least there is a sequence with the cult that gives the film life if only for a few minutes.
It's not as bad as it could be but it could have been better. Stanley Tucci's presence in this film tricked me the way I see it tricked most.
