"The Signal" takes the concept of mass psychosis then goes further, injecting the idea into the actual film medium. That is, the film your currently watching. As a result what you see on screen gradually becomes more and more a distorted reality.
Eventually you have no idea if what your watching is going to end up being one of the lead character's hallucinations. Because of this aspect, "The Signal" is unpredictable, not unlike a rabid animal.
Throw in loads of violence, blood and guts, some absolutely hilarious moments of black comedy, and logic as skewed as this movie it's self and you have one seriously fucked up yet entirely entertaining movie.
