Review of The Signal (2007) by Lori C — 26 Jul 2008
"The Signal" is indie horror done right; a gory, tense film that does not care to explain what is causing such chaos but instead throws us in the thick of a derailed society. Three different directors bring us three parts of the story and they all work.
The second one even dwells on dark humor, but the film never misses a beat, unlike other horror-comedies of late. Overall, a solid first entry on what I hope could be a cool little franchise if the directors decide to take that route.
