Review of The Signal (2007) by Wendy N — 01 Aug 2008
Some clever ideas and decent cinematography make this a very good low budget scifi-horror flick. There is a very definite Tarantino like quality to it that is in some ways better than Quentin because you are spared the forced wanna-be-cool dialogue of Tarantino's efforts since "Pulp Fiction".
Some good laugh out loud points and a few cringe moments but not too gory considering the subject matter.
