Review of The Signal (2007) by Seth H — 15 Aug 2008
A very uneven yet original indie horror film. The three directors do a decent job distinguishing the tones of their respective pieces. The second segment is most definitely the weakest. I think the film would have been better by trying to keep a very dark tone throughout.
I do give them props on never trying to explain the origins of the wave of madness sweeping the city. It's that kind of ambiguity that keep a horror movie scary.
