Review of The Signal (2007) by Rosemarie S — 06 Oct 2008
Excellent, excellent, excellent. Finally a horror movie with depth, gore, ass, blood and even a bit of humor thrown in for good measure. Although it lags a bit at the midpoint (the humor and the horror collide and end up making a bit of a mess) the film as a whole is just brilliant.
It truly leaves you with a sense of paranoia and does a great job at holding your attention for the hour and a half. The cast is wonderous and the music is top notch. This film also amazes me because it has so many different levels to it, you can see it as just horror, political or social commentary, a love story, etc etc.
A must must must see.
