Review of The Signal (2007) by Jefferson D — 03 Nov 2008

The tagline for this film is right, The Signal is a trick; the first act of this movie leads you to believe that it's going to be an amazing film, but it ends up being just okay. The 2nd and 3rd acts of this film fall well short of the 1st and cause one to hope that the film will get back on track but it never does.

Upon seeing it I wasn't upset that I saw a bad film, I was more so upset I saw filmmakers let a great idea/concept/and film apparently slip through their grasp and end up with a mediocre funny middle and a forgettable end.

Sigh... I really wanted to enjoy this too.
